Refund Policy for Lara Studios

Effective Date: December 27, 2025

1. Overview

Our goal is to provide a fair and transparent refund process for both travelers and photographers. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are issued for bookings made through Lara Studios.

2. Full Refunds

A full refund of the amount paid will be automatically processed in the following situations:

  • Photographer Decline: If a photographer declines a booking request for any reason.
  • No Response: If a photographer does not approve or decline a booking request within 48 hours, the request will automatically expire, and a full refund will be issued to the traveler.

Refunds in these cases are initiated immediately upon cancellation and should reflect in your original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank's processing times.

3. Traveler-Initiated Cancellations

If a traveler wishes to cancel a confirmed booking, the eligibility for a refund will depend on the timing of the cancellation:

  • Cancellation more than 7 days before the photoshoot: Full refund.
  • Cancellation between 3 and 7 days before the photoshoot: 50% refund.
  • Cancellation less than 3 days (72 hours) before the photoshoot: No refund will be issued.

To cancel a confirmed booking, please go to your dashboard and select the cancel option for the respective booking.

4. Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that emergencies happen. In cases of documented emergencies (e.g., medical issues, extreme weather, government travel advisories), we may offer a full refund or credit for a future booking at our discretion, even if the cancellation occurs within the non-refundable period. Please contact our support team with relevant documentation to discuss your situation.

5. How to Request a Refund

For automatic refunds (due to photographer decline/no response), no action is needed. For traveler-initiated cancellations or exceptional circumstances, please use the cancellation feature in your dashboard or contact our support team directly.
